5 Lam stack -vs- 7 lam stack question

Will there be a difference in draw weight with all things being equal say total stack .315 of 5 without veneers compared to a stack of 7 with veneers?
I'm thinking the extra glue lines will add poundage. if so how much to expect?

From my VERY limited experience (7 bows)...stack thickness is stack thickness if all else remains the same (limb design, total taper .002/in vs .003/in, length). I read something on here a while back that the number of laminations can have some significant effects on the shootability and feel of the bow though.

It definitely adds to the build cost of the bow though at+/- $20 a pair, it can add up. Adds additional prep time and gluing as well...just things to consider. A glass, vaneer,core,core,riser, vaneer, glass combo has been a consistant performer for me. The thinner lams seem to bend easier on the form potentially allowing for better contact during epoxy drying. These are my thoughts only and based on only 7 builds (that shoot really well and are whisper quiet by the way    )
