A proper repair?
« on: May 27, 2012, 08:22:00 PM »
Hey guys,
I'm new to the site and the forums and wanted to get some quality advice on a small repair for my old Bear Super Mag.
There is an exposed lamination on the lower front of the riser. Please see pics -

I have some Thunderbird sealer and thinner that I thought might do the trick with about three applications and some super-fine sanding just over the affected area.
What are your thoughts?

Thanks,

From wat I can tell it's just a finish proble and it sounds like your plan is right on.
If you didn't have the Thunderbird any spray poly type would work.
