What about this veneer material?
« on: June 17, 2012, 09:15:00 PM »
Just started working on this material.
Walnut burl.....
Just wanted to know what everyone thought about it.

This was a small scrape piece I ran thru the sander.

Sprayed a little clear finish on it to see what it would look like under glass. The flash has it a little lighter colored than it really is.

Anyone who didn't like that, don't like wood.

Love it. Always been a burled walnut fan.
If you need someone to test it let me know.

Troy, Did you see the walnut burl veneer bow I had this weekend?
I think you will like the look of what you got going. It is cool stuff.
Nice to meet you and your wife.

Chuck,

Yes I did. I bought this material last week and after getting home I had to try out the small sander. The scrape piece was the first thru it.
