I copied this from a post I made to this video on PowWow.
This is a video where they are saying there is a need to use a nock under the arrow when shooting 3 under because they think the arrow slips down but I think its a timing issue. I think I see something in this video that explains what I've found out while messing with my adjustable limb takedown. If you look real close and pause as you go you will see that the nock moves up not the arrow moving down. Not only that but it causes the arrow nock to porpoise. With my bow if I increased the positive tiller to 3/8" or more when shooting 3 under the bow got real quiet. 3 under puts more pressure on the lower limb and I think the top limb is moving forward before the bottom causing the nocking point to rise partly due to the different time of release of each finger. What think ye, is this video slaying another archery rule of thumb???
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])
