First Glass bow
« on: September 08, 2012, 03:05:00 PM »
Well I have my first glass bow shooting, I don't think its going to be firewood.
Made some mistakes and learned some lessons, seems to shoot good, we will see about life span. I still need to do some finish work, but here are some pictures.

does everyone else have fiberglass in their fingers or is it just me?

Wow I don t know what is cooler, your bow or your floor...But good job on the bow, how does it shoot?

Yep, welcome to the club, that fiberglass stuff sure is annoying..

Sometimes duct tape will pull those tiny glass slivers out

I found tape works well to get those out too....and latex gloves prevent most from going in.   Nice job.  Is that your own design?

Goog job!  I try and wear gloves when shaping limbs but always seem to get a few slivers somewhere in the process.
