Hi Jeff
It's mostly Rewarewa (New Zealand honeysuckle)with purple hart and Tawa pin stripes.
All the timbers come from demo jobs or skip bins on building sites.
Thanks for looking
Cheers Craig

great job, good looking bow.
if your front yard looks anything like the back, that's my kind of place.

Great bow.  I like your target, what's it made of?

The target is old ceiling tiles cut down the middle. works well but some times the old paint on the tiles sticks to the arrows

Good to see a bow from the land of the long white shroud -er - cloud! Excellent job too, not familiar with the timbers [except purple heart] but they look good.

We are very lucky to live here.
we have 6 acres and a very little house that we bought from my wife's folks about a year ago.
My archery target is made from pinex ceiling tiles riped in half long ways.
Pinex is some times called softboard and can also come in 8x4 sheets. It looks a bit like pressed wood pulp. We used it alot here in the 1950s-80s. I have a friend in the demo game that puts it aside for me.Cheers Craig
