First Euro Mount Yote (Pix)
« on: February 26, 2008, 12:39:00 AM »
Tried my hand at my first ever euro mount.  Wasn't to bad...learned a few things and next time it will be much easier once I get another skull to do.  Had a good time doing it and I will def be trying other animals out.

Can't wait to try a deer next year...I'm going to save a few segments of the spine though so I can add it to the base of the skull.

Tom, you did a good looking job on that skull, make sure you post some pics of the deer when you do one.

Nice Job. I did my first euro last year with a muzzleloader buck. I'll try to get a pic up tonight. I left mine natural though I might think of painting, it looks more crisp.

Well done.  I found an awesome dead buck yesterday and going to boil it this afternoon.  Will keep everyone posted on how it turns out.

Looks good.  Be sure to superglue the teeth in as the bone will shrink over time and they can fall out.
