Refinishing Limbs

Need help refinishing my limbs on my A@H longbow.Someone before had some stick on camo covers on frount side and as carefull as I was some of the finish came with it when I pulled them off.What would you all use.

sand with 220 grit paper then thunderbird it good results

Make sure there's not any old finish on it anywhere or else when you put the new on it could react and bubble up. Don't ask me how I know this.
