lining it all up
« on: October 18, 2012, 12:51:00 AM »
Hey all.  I have built around 30 bows now (thanks to you all for your help).. most of these bows are take down recurves.  to this day i am still having issues getting the limbs lined up perfect at the begining and end up spending a few hours tweeking the nocs and pad angle to get it all straight.

i use a 9 inch sanding wheel to grind the limb pads at a 90 degree angle... i use a drilling jig for the bolt holes and pins.. and i have tried the string method, laser method and the pencil method for getting center.

what do you guys do to help getting a god limb line up for faster build ups.

thanks.
God gave you hands, use them
