Made some strings with this stuff. I am very impressed so far. No stretch, no plastic.

Thanks !  The smaller 60 incher is shot in now and skinned. It draws as smooth as any bow I've ever shot and has great cast. Both limbs were offset a bit which brought the string to the edge of handle, I pointed the handle at the string and very slightly weakened the off side tiller. This has given the bow center shot function and no torque on draw.
 More pics as things develop.

Great looking tiller on that bow Charles, love the lines on it. Is the loop on that bow string a standard twist or is it some type of braid, it looks real sharp.

Nice supervisors for the drill press.   ;)

Yikes! need to censor them gurls.
It's a braid, after doing the flemish twist for the loop.

Charlie, I have a couple of questions,
What kind of sinew are you using and what kind of glue, I am in the process of building a sinew backed Hickory Recurve and am not experienced in the application of sinew but have played around a little with Knox gelatin and some Buffalo sinew.
Thanks.
Bert.

Bert, Elk back sinew and Titebond 3. Presoak clean sinew in luke warm water for about 30 minutes, thats what I use the warming arrangement for. Remove sinew bunches and lightly dry by pulling between fingers, comb out if needed. Drag through pan of TB 3 working glue into bundle then pull thru fingers as before to remove excess glue. Put on bow as with any other method. Usually about 10 days to cure.
This is the method used and taught by Ed Scott.
Thanks again all for the compliments.
