Lineman, I like the Black River idea, it just rolls off the tongue better I think. I call mine SoMo  Archery, as an homage to South Mountain state park near my home. I grew up on that mountain and hunt and fish there all I can (there is a game land all around it). Go with what you know and love, and you can't go wrong.

I drew a logo several years ago and played with the idea of it being a company name. The name implies that deer jump the string with my bows but I liked the logo and name enough that I didn't care. It's not a big company anyway.  :)

I've always enjoyed the science behind bow making, and the flight of the arrow. Plus I don't have any cool rivers or creeks near me. So I use the name Paradox Archery as my 'business' name.
Love the name Black River Bows. It actually sounded really familiar when I first read it. Like I've seen it before (but I haven't). Great name!
