Quiet as a longbow and very fast. Great bow. Killed a large black bear and a monster hog with it.
The only reason I got rid of mine was dealing with the builder was a problem. He still has a $100 deposit of mine and I have never gotten my second set of limbs I ordered.

I have a 60" and just received a 52". great bows. fast and quiet. Just don't be in a hurry for it. John does a lot of guiding in the fall and winter and his shop isn't very well heated so he doesn't get a lot done when it is real cold, but he does build a fine bow.

Very nice bows. Like has been said, very fast, smooth and quiet. You hear alot of negitive about John but my dealings have been nothing short of perfect, bow was delivered excactly on time.
