I used ink on the edges of the boo to black them out and it wouldn't get completely black like the customer wanted so I just ended up painting the edges of the limbs. Then seven coats of T-bird.

Thanks fellas

Excellent job!! Stippled grip?

Brad, I can only imagine shaping a riser and sanding it smooth!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Thanks guys.  sanding the phenolic was the easy part.   Cutting it out with band saw was the hard part using an old blade of course.  I only went through one 24 grit belt shaping the riser then put on an 80 grit belt and from there used my flap wheels in my drill press.  only had to do a little hand sanding in the usual spots.

Kenny yes I stippled the grip at a botched checkered attempt.  My checkering set is 20 lpi  I cant find a 12 lpi set if I could I'd use that instead.
