Freezer burned skins
« on: March 23, 2013, 08:50:00 PM »
I have a couple of rattler skins that have been in the freezer for a while and have a couple of spots that look like freezer burn. Will there be a problem backing a bow with them?

I'd tack them out and let them dry and see how the burned area reacts.

I would soak them in water then tack them up, freezer burn is a dehydrated place.

If they don't look right when they dry I will soak them and try again
