what kind of ink

I'm looking for a white ink or marker that wont run when a poly finish is applied.I know there are posts covering this subject,and after 2 hours of looking I'm wimping out and and asking for help.   :help:

I have had great luck with white acrylic ink get it at Michaels.

A well worn bottle of white acrylic calligraphy ink from Hobby Lobby.

For Gold or Silver, I use Sharpie Extra Fine Point Paint pens:

For Black, I use a Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen in super fine point.  They have India Ink in them.

I just bought what Eric posted and used it on the bow I built for Kenny in the swap.  Not that I haven't seen much much better, but its the best lettering I've been able to do yet.

Thanks for the help.Its about 70 miles to the nearest box type store, but it turns out my wife says we need groceries ,and I'm not one to disagree with my wife ,so this coming weekend off to Idaho Falls we go and I will try to find some acrylic ink.

Rockkiller, when you go to town
 Michael's has the acrylic ink, it's across the street from Grand Teton mall on 17th street. they have the pens also.
