is there a good walk through for glass bows instead of board bows or selfbows? i've made some selfbows but have no idea where to start on a laminate bow

Study all of the build alongs, ask all the questions you may have (no shortage of great help here at tradgang), and if you're lucky you may find a willing mentor.

Great Dustin, I`ve had the idear to build my own herters 46" for some month but as you showed the vintageprojectsbow could be an easier start into those ultra short recurves. (and most crappieces should work as a riser^^)
To the topic; I love the buildalong Dick Wightman shows on his HP.

There are a lot of great build alongs on Trad Gang. Check 'em out and ask questions, a lot of good people here that are willing to help and share their know how.
MoeM, there are also some build alongs for a herter recurve. I think there is even one that has been done by Herman a guy from Germany.

Herman wrote about many difficulties so I`m a bit offended but mississipp aimed my eyes on the supermag...

Fishbow The BA by Sam Harper on poorfolksbows.com shall be recommended too.

Som1 should really start a collection of BAs for sure- first I had no idear but over the time I found hundreds of them!
