MANLAW - Spirit Bow
« on: February 29, 2008, 01:28:00 PM »
Well believe it or not I actually won something.  A custom Spirit Bow by Bryan Holley of Granby Colorado.  Bryan has been making and selling bows for several years but as far as I know only locally in Colorado.  He doesn't advertise and is probably only known locally but he makes a nice bow and affordable bow.  He was also generous enough to donate one to the Colorado Traditional Archers Society for raffle at the banquet and I was lucky enough to win it.  It just arrived so I haven't even shot it yet.  Here it is, 58", 53# @ 27", bacote riser and bamboo limbs.

Nice! Very nice! Let us know how it shoots, if it's as good as it looks you've got a keeper!

Congrats on the draw!

Tater/Pat seems to me I saw you win a thing or two at the banquet.  I am anxious to get home and shoot this beauty.

Mark, Glad to see you got your bow. I think they are really nice, My wife won the on for last year, it was such a sweet shooting bow that I got one after the high country shoot. Mine is 56# @28, Bow bolt take down. Got it so I could pack it on the Goldwing. It was the one I took my 6x6 bull with this year. Bryon does excellent work. Now to go kill something with yours.

I've been shooting in the garage getting it dialed in.  Some bow hush and string silencers really made it quiet.  It seems quick but it is hard to tell when only shooting 13-14 yds.  I'll take it to the range tomorrow.
