Do like what Jess said and use a total thickness of .200. Infact you can get a pair of .120 .001'in tapers, 2" wide cut them up the center and glue it up with some .040 like Jess mentioned and it'll be around 20# @ 25". If you want to go with hill styled, make the total stack around .225 for 20# @ 25".
To split the wood lams, use a straight edge and a box cutter, or rotary cutter, that way you won't waste anything. To split the fiberglass use straight cutting tinsnips.
