hanging a bow for spraying

I have access to a huge professional spray booth and equipment,my question is how do you guy's hang a one-pcs bow to spray with-out leaving hanger marks on it? thank-you Burt

I was taught and have always had success with using a very small eye hook screwed in the belly side of the handle.  The bow hangs nicely for spray and the very small hole mark, after being filled, is covered with the leather wrap of the handle.  

I'm sure there's lots of other ways.

I hang bows from a piece of wire bent around a string nock. When they're dry, I turn them over and hang them from the other limb. If you want, you can easily touch up the nocks.

I just hang it from the string nock. I use a small string with a slip knot with a loop on the top.

Are we talking self-bows?

I've just pounded a nail a little ways into the handle and suspended the bow from a stave. I would only do that with a bow that does not bend in the handle

I like the hook eye idea.

I use smallish wire, wrapped around the nock in such a way as I have learned over the years to make minimal contact with the bow. Sometimes I flip part way through spraying.... sometimes I don't. Between spray sessions, I'll often slightly reposition the wire so it doesn't leave a mark. When I'm done, you'll find no marks in the finish from the wire. If it ever did, I'd do it differently. I'm pretty anal about the finish on my bows :^)

I use six pound test fishing line looped around the knock doesn't seem to affect the finish I haven't had to respray.Joe

I don't like string or line. It cuts into the finish and can crack when removed. I do it like Bowjunkie. 14ga wire.

x3 (or 4?) on the fishing line.  I get fancy though and use spiderline.  If you need the specifics, I think it's 20 lb test with 6 lb diameter, or something like that.  Just a simple slip knot and maybe flip, maybe not.  Can't even tell in the finish, and even if you can a little, the string wears it off after a couple stringings.

I prefer wire over string because it makes less contact with the bow... usually only touches it in a few spots. Then between coats, I rotate the bow just a tad so it touches in a new spot and gets sprayed over the previous ones.
