I will give it a go. I grind anything from veneers .050 or less to lams up to .0100. For tapers I use a sled I got from Kenny.

Buemaker, I saw a very small model of the drum replacing the knives on a jointer style set up. It was so small I think it was for model building. I've kept my eye out for a large one to flatten bamboo by machine instead of hand but so far no luck.
