help...adding laminations

I'm in the process of tillering a longbow I made but it has come in a little light.  Can I apply another lamination to the back.  I have several more Hickory lams I can use.

I used smooth-on for the glue up.

Can I use smooth on again and use the hot box or use heat lamps and the slow 24 hr cure?

Or should I use titebond 3 and avoid the heat?

What is your belly wood? I've had good luck adding a good strong belly lam like osage or ipe to increase weight.

Smooth On can be put through the hot box again without a problem. Some guys build up risers through a couple hot box runs, then yet another to adhere the riser to the bow... no problem. I'd use Smooth On and go right back in the box with it.

x2 what those guys said. I'd probably add a belly lam personally, but I suppose either could work.

I do multiple glue ups on deflex reflex bows, but err on the side of caution, dropping the heat a little each time.

I have recently finished a bow i wanted to be 45-50 lbs but came out at 32.....
And i was also considering laying a carbon layer on top of the glass on the back of the bow.....

but am not entirely sure if its ok to do, and don't know who i should ask...??

Does anyone think this would or wouldn't work??
