Do the shoot threw mesh windows of the various pop-up blinds affect arrow flight? How tight do the screens have to be? Thanks for the advice.

At close range I don't have any trouble.I find a sharp 3 blade works better than a two blade because it opens up a hole for the fletching. My screens are kept tight.

I've used the screening provided by Double Bull and have shot two-three- and four-blade heads through them without any problems. The screen and being inside a blind might mess with your depth perception a little, but has virtually no effect on arrow flight.

I've shot two blades through them a bunch in Africa and a few in the states. I think it's critical to make sure the screening is drum-head tight.
I even shot two critters through the mesh shooting agate heads. Shots were around 15 yards and the arrows flew straight.

I've shot broadheads and blunts through the mesh on my Ameristep Penthouse blind--no problems with either one. I agree with it can mess with your depth perception.

The key is how the shelf of your bow is cut. A center cut or past center work quite well, however I tried it with my Howard Hill and had deflections every time, but my center cut bows no problem.
