What's The Safest Way To Store A TD Recurve?

What is the best way to long term store a TD Recurve to prevent limb twist? Is there a good way to hang a TD Recurve fully assembled but not strung that would not result in long term limb deformation? Sorry for the dumb question.

Hang it straight up and down.

Roy's right. I just unstring but leave the string on the bottom nock and around the top limb then hang vertically on a bow rack from that top limb between the limb and string. I do the same with any bow.

X3. Although I think the absolute best may be a bow rack which holds the bow horizontally.

This is a bit of a wast of wall space if you have a 2 or 3 bow horizontal rack. But if your rack holds maybe 10 bows, a vertical rack and horizontal rack takes about the same space

I was thinking of building a horizontal bow rack and suspending the bow by pegs at the center of each limb but wasn't sure if that might cause some long term harm to the bow. I can't see how it would induce any twist and seems like a minimal amount of residual limb flex from the bow weight alone...

Go for it, shouldn't hurt. But hanging vertically is the safest way.

I have one rack where the bows can be stored with or without them braced...but horizontal between two pegs.

I have two more racks with single pegs and the bows are held vertical with peg between string and upper limb.  

Both will work and are good choices far above any other options...such as laying on floor under bed or on shelf in closet etc.

That last thing you want to do is lean them up in a corner. Vertical is best but horizontal won't hurt them.
