New recurve finished
« on: June 01, 2014, 05:04:00 PM »
This is the first off the new form. It's 60" 46@28 and draws smooth out to 31-32". It's mesquite/pau ferro riser with walnut burl back and pac yew belly

That is one fine looking bow! The bend looks great too.

Awesome!  Really like those long, somewhat milder hooks, beautiful strung profile.  Draw looks great too! The bend through the first 2/3's is perfect, super nice shape.  Have you considered increasing the thickness taper a bit?  Looks like the hooks could unfurl a little more, but maybe not, the dynamics of a recurve are considerably trickier than longbows haha. Hows it shoot?

Thanks y'all. It shoots great!  I've only got a 26" draw so this one really opens up at 28-29" out to 31-32"
