nice camo, I've used that method and also turkey feathers, both give a great look, whats the specs on that bow if ya don't mind

How'd the finishing go?

Little worried even a spray finish might loosen the stain a bit..

Bubby: It's a bamboo backed osage with snakewood?? forward handle powerlam.  It's settling in 53lbs @ 28"  

Zradix: I used spray poly from the can.  A few coats of gloss and then ended up with a few satin.  No stain ran for me other than the handle area where I was holding the bow to make the camo before the finish.  I'll post some pictures when I am able to find some time.  

The bow will be at MOJam here in a week if anyone wants to look at it.
