Another convert
« on: August 02, 2014, 10:51:00 PM »
Been a while since I posted anything. Summer is always busy. I have had time to make a few though. Gave this one to my cousin who is 14. He loves the outdoors and hunting and so I thought it was time for him to enter the trad world. 62" green mtn camo riser, FF plus string with padded loops, olive green limbs. Pulls 30#@25 so it can grow with him. My mom made him the quiver, I made him an arm guard, bought a shooting glove and made up a few arrows so he is set. Spent the day showing him the basics and he is a natural. Bye Bye wheelie bow. Good shooting Jonathan! Enjoy   :campfire:

Very cool, critman.  Great looking bow!  Wish my form was as good as his
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

I heard today he is shooting this thing like crazy and hasn't lost an arrow yet!  Wish I could say that   :bigsmyl:
