I build tri lam all wooden bows. I always cut the shelf short of center and then work to center with filing and sanding. After tillering the bow and shooting some arrows with the shelf not quite to center yet, they fly straight and true. As I get filed and sanded to center the same arrows kick right (right handed bow) as if they are now too stiff. Is it possible that with the shelf not quite to center that the arrows are getting a little kick left making them seem to fly true? Or is it a fact the arrows are just too stiff to begin with and with the shelf finally cut to center they display being too stiff?
