I'm not sure if Gary Davis is a sponsor here but he sells staves and came out with a DVD about building wood bows, specifically osage. Gary is a good guy and has lots of knowledge that he will share with you. His staves are floor tillered preforms and great for a beginner.
Mike at Pine Hollow has raw staves and some kit bows I think.

Gary is a great guy.  His DVD is called Rattlestick.  I wish it was out when I first started.  He does a great job explaining everything.

Burt, I don't think Gary has a web site. His phone number is 898-845-7740. He is in Chesaning, MI.
