That's what I was afraid of. I hate changing bandsaw blades. Phenolic doesnt add much besides a little color but it is butter soft on your bandsaw. I would rather use the fiberglass but I'm too lazy.

" I hate changing blades" Yeah I can relate to that! So do I but really it only takes a few minutes and for me it worth it  for the better characteristics of the coretuff.

If you don't mind could you tell me how you cut the curves in your riser? I know hot to do single curves but how did you get the two to match up?

thanks again fellas. even you Roy!!!   :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:   Mike I just had  templates made and did first the upper curve and then followed with the lower one, grind sand and fit, grind sand and fit---- until there were no gaps.   :thumbsup:

thanks Brush wolf and Greg. As mentioned earlier it's a bit of a pity that the Osage will darken but it still goes a very nice color.
