Bowyer's Ruler
« on: January 11, 2015, 07:25:00 PM »
Several years back there was a clear flexible ruler made by Ferret (Mickey Lotz).  Is anybody know where one can come by one of these?
Thanks, Bill

I just emailed Mickey about this last week as someone had asked me about it.  He said he had a few but I have no idea how many.  It was never a commercial product, just something he gave away in his typically very generous manner.

Back when he developed it, he also sent out a file so folks could print their own on transparencies.  There used to be a PDF version of it floating around but I have not had any luck finding it.  Someone must have it???

Here is the actual reply from Mickey plus a message for all you tradgangers:

Took lots of deer pics again this year, but didn’t hunt again this season, but still riding the motorcycle. Rode 21 miles yesterday at -1 degrees. Rode 27,000 miles in 2014. Rode to California and back. Had a great time. Always wanted to ride Cal Highway 1 and dip a toe in the Pacific. Mission accomplished!

I think there is a thread on the Primitive Archer site with the info for him to print his own, and I understand this fellow has the pdf and some rulers as well for future reference  [email protected].

And please tell all my friends at Tradgang that I said Hi, and that I think of them often.

Take care my friend,

Mickey

Check drafting and graphic arts suppliers.  They should have clear rulers.
