It is amazing David,he is growing way to fast. Bayou I know that a 31.5 inch gold tip 55/75 with 125 grain tips and 100 grains behind the insert is too weak. I have some full length CE 350's that I think I can make work. I don't like going shorter than 31". I figure I am drawing 59 lbs. at 30". Did I mention This bow is the fastest bow I have had.

You know I didnt even think of you guys sticking more weight behind the point! Or using brass inserts. Those 55-75's would work with 125 tips, if you had just a 15 grain aluminum insert. You might need CX 350s with all that weight up front.

Hatchaser, the bow looks like it may be too big for you and you seem to be "plucking" the string on your release. Maybe the fella with the hat in the last pic can shoot it till you grow into it...LOL
Seriously, these are NICE looking bows. Always liked an I beam riser. Do you have any pics of the other side of the riser with just the Kingwood? That is my new favorite wood. I can't get enough of it. Congrats on the new bow...Mike

How do you guys like the bowsocks that came with the whisperstiks? My wife makes them for JD and she wanted to know what the rest of the world thought of them.

He's not dropping the bow arm though. That little rascal will probably be outshooting me within the year.
I'll try to get you a pic of the other side of the riser.
Sticks, your wife does a wonderfull job on the bow socks. I especialy like the slide fastener on the string.
I have had an all around great expierience dealing with JD. I highly recomend one of these if you like a 50's style curve.

I like the bow sock as well. That's the reason I kept the bow.

BTW, is that the standard grip on Whisperstik recurves? It looks to be very comfortable...Mike
