its not the arrow shelf. I drew lines on the bow on where my hand would be, where the arrow shelf would be and where the nock would be. My other bows have the nock set about 3/4" above the shelf which is what I made this one. the pegs are pretty close to where the fingers would be pulling

Work the inner half of the limbs with a scraper if you still need more draw length.

Make sure your shooting draw is 28"...not your pose draw.  :)
