Maple and Cherry lam
« on: May 29, 2015, 04:14:00 PM »
Not the best photos, I glued on a 48" cherry lam on the  belly which is tapered. 64" NTN I think the weight is around 36-40# backing is synthetic, I used what was around. I decided on a rough patina look for the back and did some art work.  I think I'll refrain in the future with doing that. Tiller is 1/4" positive. It flings an arrow and feels good in the hand.

Fun isn't it!
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Nice looking bow, I like how you did the tips, and the artwork is a stepping stone for future bows. The more bows we build, the more we learn.
