58" Recurve

58" NTN   31#@28"
Koa belly and Riser overlay
Curly walnut riser and Back

I used the same limb reflex/Radius as my static recurves and changed the last 7" on the tips
The limbs are parallel to the last 7" .004 total taper

 

koa and red and black phenolic overlays

 

Curly walnut
 

sap wood of the walnut
black and red phenolic and red core flex and koa stripes
 

red glass and black phenolic tip overlays

Nice looking bow, the Koa goes good with the other woods.  I am curious at how the last 7" of parallel helps the performance of the bow, vs tapered?
An hour in the shop is worth two in the yard

sorry the last 7" is where the two radius (limb and tip) goes into the recurve and the limbs get narrow to the nock

no hand shock and 31#   305 grain arrow 157/158 fps

did I get that straight ?

Oh, OK Mark, I misunderstood what you meant there.  That is a good fps for such a light bow.
