Bowyers guess-timation
« on: June 25, 2015, 03:37:00 PM »
I am working on a 60" AMO hybrid that came out a little low so I am shortening at the tips. Just finished a 58" on the same form so I know it's not a problem. I just need a few to chime in on how much I would increase per inch shortened? Would like to gain 4-6lbs, should I go 1/2", 1", ???

And now she wears the string of her 58" partner. Will have to get back to you on what poundage it turned out.

That's a sexy profile!  How's the finger pinch with a shorty?

Finger pinch not an issue with the extreme forward handle.

Hard to hold at the 26 1/4" AMO standard steadily with one foot in a strap while taking a picture with the other hand!
Looks like ole Roy knows a little something, from 42 to 48lb, gained 6lbs.
