BBO bow layout help
« on: November 28, 2015, 10:27:00 AM »
I have a few pieces of bamboo and a Osage board. I'm looking for a basic layout. I'm not sure on the dimensions, bow length, trapping etc... I'm shooting for 55@28.  Any help would be appreciative thanks

Kenny's link is a good read. Lot of questions answered.
You can follow most of this build and just do the bamboo and osage.
If your shooting for 55# then I suggest starting with 1/2 on the osage.
Follow Roys set,up for a form.

Suggested viewing " Hunting the Bamboo Backed Bow with Dean Torges DVD"
There is a trmendious amount of information on design, layout and forms in this DVD.
