Where to buy horn from
« on: February 03, 2016, 12:40:00 PM »
Where is a good place to buy water buffalo or sheep horn from? I need it big enough for handle overlays and limb tips.

Texas knife maker's supply has that stuff.  I've never bought from them but see it on their website when shopping knife scales.

Depending on what type you want most pet supply stores have big chunks of elk and moose for dog chew toys

Horn in Pet stores??  I've never seen that here on the mainland.  Rawhide, of various kinds, yes; but nor horn.

I got mine from petco when I finished a longbow blank. Found the thickest horn and made my own slabs. Was cheap too bout 9$ for a whole horn.
