Returning my Bandsaw

I found out about a workshop about a half hour drive from my house. It's a public pay-by-the-hour woodworking shop that has all the tools you could want... band saws, table saws, jointers, planers, routers, thickness sanders, etc. So I figured I might as well just return my underpowered 9" saw and pay for a few hours in the shop where I can pound out enough laminations and handles to keep me going for a while. Pretty nice that there's a place like that around in the Twin Cities.

I have heard of this before, but can not locate one where I live.

Cool. Just be careful, machines have no conscience, and if you haven't used them before, it would be prudent to have someone give you the basics of operations and safe use.

That's cool. You wouldn't be happy with a 9" bandsaw anyway.

Wish we had something like that around here. 9" bandsaw is terrible. I have one and only keep it so I that I won't have to change blades on a bigger saw when I get one if I wanna build models. It's about powerful enough to cut balsa or 2mm birch ply,

"public pay-by-the-hour woodworking shop"  thats really cool especially like some of us that do not have the space nor dust collection.  I know larger centers have that I wish towns of 60,000 had such facilities.    :(
