New to me bow's and snow
« on: March 07, 2008, 09:30:00 AM »
Man I am not used to this. I have three bow's I need to shoot and we got 7" of snow yesterday and last night. What is up with this??? 7th of March and snow in Southern Oklahoma!!! I got my deflex Quest in , my kingfisher recurve in, and my Vortex in. Way too cold for me out there today. LOL

My dog thought I was nuts wanting her to go out in this stuff.

A word of advise...don't miss your target, if you do you won't find your arrow until spring. That is why I shoot aluminum arrows, after the snow melts, find em, re-fletch em and shoot some more.  :)
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.      Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

Nakohe - That's borderline whining! My wife would tell me to "suck it up" and go shoot.

Give me a break guy's, I am a southern boy and not used to this. But it will be all gone by tomorrow and I can shoot again. One thing about the south, it may snow, but gone by the next day. LOL

Buy a metal detector and you don't have to wait until spring to find them.
Shoot strait and have fun!
