Okay now; since Kenny fessed up I will. I am liking this bow more than I thought I would. This was my first attempt with green but I am overloaded with brown & black. Two with brown belly and black back. And yes my favorite purty wood under clear glass, just couldn't afford it now.

My sons Maddog is similar in some ways to your bow. I love his bow too. Its bubinga with green glass, red elm cores, and cocabolo accent strip. Made for a sweet bow....like yours.    :archer2:  Go green!

Cool Jason; the Bublinga wasn't planned for me, it was just a block I had that I purchased from Troy a good while ago at a  bargin  knowing I would use it sometime. Then when the glass came from Big Jim I felt I had a good match.

Well I still think it's perdy . Now if you were to put a light tan swede leather wrap over the handle , that would really pop .

Heck yeah it's a good match!  So good I used that combo in the bow I made specifically for my upcoming Bear Quest Hunt.

Thanks Varmint101. Been enjoying shooting the bow getting myself back in tune for this fall. As far as my health is concerned that's quite another story. Every time it looks like I'm done here I receive another miracle through the prayers of his people!
