I'm considering putting a clicker on my selfbow. Since the limbs were tillered to have an even curve, the only real flat spot when at full draw is near the limb tip. The clicker on my recurve is put at a spot that doesn't bend much but I can't find anything around there on my selfbow that isn't going to bend when I draw. The bow is a very basic pyramid design with no added reflex -- just a fun board bow.
What is the best place to attach the clicker to a selfbow? Can it be installed on the lower limb near the fades?
Also, I finished it with pure beeswax ('cause I got a lot of it). So it's hard now but will undoubtedly get softer in a hot car or out in the sun come summer. Is this thing going to need to be expoxied or crazy glued on to avoid coming off later?
