sanding?
« on: June 19, 2017, 07:54:00 PM »
I got a laminated bow glued up and everything cut out and looking good.  I am finally at the stage to start the sanding down process.  Question is, with fiberglass does it matter which way to sand, like when making cuts and filing?  Or just sand back to belly working it down, this is a longbow.

The only place I've had a sander grab is on the end of the limb and only with 36 grit there. YMMV tho, no need to push hard against the sander.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
