Air dry vs Kiln dry

Ok Guys, Where is a good wood source AND does it matter if wood is Kiln dried or not? also, how important is it to have a moisture meter?

IMO, dry is dry. Are you building a glass bow or wood bow?
 I only build wood bows and don't have a moisture meter but others swear by them.
 As far as a source for wood it depends of whether you are building a glass or wood bow.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!
