Apitong for lam?
« on: July 08, 2017, 07:41:00 PM »
just wondering if anyone has used Apitong for making lams. The person who has it told me that it is for replacing the deck on a semi trucks trailer but other that that dont know too much about it. I done a search but nothing came up. looking to make some lams for a trilam or something. thanks in advance for any info and thoughts.

I have a friend building a boo backed apitung as we type. I have a bunch from a friend who rebuilt his trailer beds and I gave him a chunk to try. It feels dense enough to make a bow. I plan to make a maple backed bow with it some year.
