StanM-
I believe the rack is from a white tail. I found it in a box in my parents attic with a black bear head. It was from my Great-Grandfather who lived in the Boston area. I never met him, but have his horns as a reminder of the only other hunter in my family.
Are you chasing turkeys this spring?

Hey Bryan,
I thought it might be whitetail. Would've been some of the best eyeguards I'd ever seen on a blacktail.
Yeah, I'll be chasing. Hope to get some more feathers for my archery class.
Take care,
Stan

Bryan, I have been thinking of making my first out of hazelnut too. This is great to see! I am south of you in Eugene. Did you do this on your own or with the help of some other bowyers? I know there are a few down here that is trying to have someone come in to do a clinic on making selfbows. Hope it happens.

Snag-
There is a nice and very talented group of bowyers that meet every month in the Beaverton area.
If your interestd, we could put you on the invite list. I also had Gordon double check my tiller. He is a first class bowyer.
