help with arrows
« on: March 09, 2008, 05:57:00 PM »
I have a true 30.5 in draw and I'm having no luck finding an arrow that will bare shaft. I have tried the cx heritage 350s and gold tip 75/95 s both are showing weak. HELP

Those shafts should have shown stiff.  Is your shelf cut past center?  If it is, you may have to build out the strike plate.  You will need to bring the center of the arrow in line with the center of the shelf.  Give this a try and see what happens.

You will probably need a Heritage 250 or GT 5575.
The only way to know for sure is to bare shaft tune.

Am I mistaken, aren't the 350s stiffer than the 250s. They are heavier. The 55/75 are flying weak also.
