T/D recurve limb profile
« on: January 03, 2018, 04:49:00 PM »
hi guys,
I'm wondering if anyone would like to share your limb profile on a T/D recurve. I'm currently running a limb profile like a parallel self bow design. Constant width of little less than 1.75" to about 8" from tip then taper to 3/4" nocks. Couple things with this. First, where the taper starts, there is a too much taper too fast so I have a "point" where the taper starts. Does anyone straight taper their recurve limbs from the wedge to the tips? Also, what tip width do you guys run on recurves? I'm about 3/4". Does anyone go down to 1/2"?
