Broadhead Alignment Problem

I am shooting Zwickeys with the 100 grain inserts.  I screw these into my carbon arrows.

Normally I can get the insert and broadhead to spin true, but I also like to use the little rubber/plastic washers to keep my points on tight.  Once I add the washer, the broadheads all wobble.  What can I do?

Is there a better way to keep my screw in points on tight?  Anyone have any pointers?

Try Thread Lock from hardware store....or honey or syrup from kitchen cabinet.

I use string wax.

Whitetail---Could it be that the torque needed to compress the washer enough to align the broadhead, is distorting the adhesive bond between the broadhead and the insert, thus altering the previously established alignment?

Yolla-Since the washer is mounted behind the broadhead/insert bond area, I don't think this is the problem.  I can remove the washer, and the head will spin true, so I don't think the bond is being distorted.  I will look into it though.  Thanks.

Is the washer flush? I can't imagine that the small amount of weight would make that much difference. Must be squashing that rubber out of shape by over tightening???

Use right wing fletching. Problem goes away.

Where the shank of the broadhead adaptor starts there is a slight radius, which effectively centres the adaptor in the insert when screwed up tight.

The plastic washer is probably preventing the radius from engageing correctly.

If they align without the washer, why use it then? Is it a weight issue? I would think string wax, thread lok, or syrup/honey would keep the head secure enough.
Only other thing I can think of is that the heads arent secure on the BH adapter, and the washer is tweaking it ever so slightly when tightened.

Teflon thread tape

Went into the archery shoplast fall looking for some thread locker or something to keep broadheads tight, they said they use clear fingernail polish on the threads.It seems to work.To remove just apply a little heat to the ferrule.

Ishi---the real reason I have been using them is to allow rotation of the head to the same orientaion---eg horizontal vs vertical---
