Thanks Roy, it took some set. Wasn't to worried about hitting weight just tried to get it tillered properly.
And I don't pluck chickens ill have you know! I scoop up the droppings from the houses once the chickens are gone.

Set happens in all wood bows. Adding reflex helps eliminate that. Also wood that is not nice and dry causes set, " as in green wood ". 12% and under is a good moisture content. 10% is even better.

Set also comes from tillering negligence. You want a nice even bend from pull # 1. The sooner you get that even bend, the better off the bow will come out. Thus limb timing comes to mind.

If one limb is stronger than the other to start, and you keep pulling the bow without adjusting that unbalance. The more you pull that bow, the stronger limb is making the weaker limb, WEAKER.

Ya just developed set in the weaker limb from the get go, if you do not get those limb synced ASAP.

Night Johnny, past my bed time..   :)

Whoa man.  I really like that shape.  Didn’t expect it to turn out like that from what I saw after glue up, but it looks great!  You shouldn’t have a problem getting to 50.
And the outer will look a little stiffer because of the reflex in that area.
I find that some of what you are calling set is actually just pulling out some of the glued in reflex, not necessarily broken wood fiber set.  Just a theory I have, I don’t have proof of that.
But I like it a lot!

BMorv, you may be right. The measurements went from 5/8ths at the center to 1 1/4, the tips went from 1 5/8ths to 3/4 of an inch. And again that's measuring while laying on the table and measuring up to the belly.

Thanks Roy, by the way #48 @24 was a typo, it was #44 @24 that's why I said I wouldn't hit weight. Right now after 50 arrows or so its #46.7 @26 so I will call it #45. Good enough for me. Its in the wood shop getting a teak oil bath right now.

Needs more shiny stuff and some polishing, I think that lemon wood is really nice looking stuff.

Thanks guys. Pat that bamboo goes real nice with the Lemon wood with a natural finish, I used teak oil (watco I cheated). Tung or Danish would work as well. A nice traditional hand rubbed linseed finish would be awesome, but I'm dragging this one through the woods so I went the fast way.
That's if you decide to use that boo as a backing.
The more of the rind you get off the better it matches but I didn't want to go crazy and sand it to much.
