North GA bear
« on: October 05, 2009, 08:09:00 PM »
Got this one friday morning. National Forest in north GA.  Not the biggest one out there but the first opportunity I've had on a bear since going to the longbow.  25 yard quartering away shot. 40 yard recovery.  Homemade longbow, 500 grain carbon arrow, and 200 grain woodsman elite.IMG]http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/ww279/redbuck30/DSC00921.jpg[/IMG]
I don't have a problem.  I can quit deer hunting anytime I want.

I've always thought it would be awesome to hunt an area where you could stick a deer, wild pig, or bear at the same time.  Congratulations on the bear!
